Works Great!
Ice cream maker was exactly as advertised! Very easy to use,quick and easy cleaning, and made great ice cream. Really appreciate the timer feature and the add in door. I would highly recommend this machine if you love ice cream.

Great ice cream
I contemplated buying this machine for a decade. Now having finally bought it, I made two ice creams in the first weekend. It's so much easier and more convenient than either the freezer bowl style makers or a maker that uses ice and salt. It's not *faster,* note - to get the best texture you do still have to chill your mix, although I got away with a few hours rather than overnight, and you still have to chill the ice cream after making it to have it more solid than a soft-serve texture, but with those caveats in mind I made sorbet in just under 30 minutes, and ice cream (with a mix-in) in just over 30 minutes, both with great texture and none of the mess of ice and salt, and without having to wait a full day in between to freeze a bulky bowl. Glad I finally took the plunge!

Makes the best ice cream
The media could not be loaded. Several months ago I purchased the Whynter Ice Cream Maker Machine & Yogurt Automatic 2 Qt. with Built-in Compressor, and it has been a game-changer for my kitchen! For years I have been looking for an ice cream maker that you don't need to store in the freezer for 24 hours, You don't have to do that anymore with this all you have to do is prepare the ice cream mixture and place it into the stainless steel mixing bowl and place the blade & put the cover on then turn it on. Now the built-in compressor does all of the work making it cold and frozen. I have made several different kinds of ice cream with this machine since receiving it and have loved the results every time. Great ice cream maker
It works great. A lot more convenient than conventional, is the main thing. And it works great. 20-30 minutes for perfect soft serve.This recipe is copied from some website, but I've just been making this over and over. So good. I add extra chunks of strawberry toward the end. Also bought some pint size reusable ice cream tubs with silicon lids, which have become a must for me. This recipe fills 2-3 of them.1 1/2 cups strawberries, hulled and diced2 Tbsp honey1/2 cup granulated sugar1 tsp lime juice1 cup heavy whipping cream1/2 cup half and half1 tsp vanilla extractIn a large bowl, mix strawberries, honey, sugar, and lemon juice. Allow to sit 15-20 minutes, or until the strawberries have released their juices.Mash the mixture with a potato masher, fork, or pastry cutter until there are no longer any large strawberry pieces (if you prefer a smooth ice cream, use a blender or food processor instead*).To the strawberries, mix heavy cream, half and half, and vanilla extract. Stir just until combined.Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker, and follow your manufacturer's instructions (mine took about 15-20 minutes to churn). You can eat the ice cream soft-serve, or freeze it in an airtight container for 3-4 hours to thicken it up slightly. For best results, allow the ice cream to sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes to soften before serving.Enjoy!
