Electric Vertical Broiler Shawarma Doner Kebab Gyro Grill Machine with Meat Catch Pan

Ours is excellent! It seems like it's really hot at first when you turn it on, but when you put the meat on it you'll notice that the heat goes into the food and doesn't really heat up anything else, such as your kitchen.

Bought this in August of 2022 and used it approximately 10 times.Last weekend I started smelling that burning plastic smell and the plug had melted where it enters the grill. We have a friend that fixes small appliances and said it had shorted out and could not be repaired. Do not buy as it is a fire hazard.

This unit sucks the power and thats just one aide.

This schawarma grill is hands down one of the best purchases I ever made. It does everything it claims to. But everyone should know this is a commercial machine and requires a dedicated 30 amp breaker, and 12 AWG wire. It requires more power, 21.5 amps, than most people's kitchens use, except on big ticket items like built in over stove microwaves. It will come close to maxing out a 30 amp breaker, and if there is anything else running at the same time on the electric line to the plug, then things will overheat and short out. Also a lot of older homes used smaller wires meant for lighting only, to the plugins, and 15 - 20 amp plugins instead of 30. If you are not sure you have the power to run it, call an electrician to check. The temperatures are also in celsius so you will need to learn to convert them to farenheight. Some of the bad reviews it has received are due to misunderstandings about electricity use needs of this type of commercial grade equipment. Others because people overflowed the drip pans and shorted it out, not paying attention. Overall if you have the power to run it, and are willing to learn to convert temperatures from celsius to farenheight you will enjoy it. Also cleaning behind the heating elements can be a bit tricky.

Each one of these machines require around 21 amps. It will trip a lot of breakers I needed to get a 15000 whatt 60 amp generator just an FYI. Also they do not sell replacement power cords, so if one breaks or lost you need to buy the whole machine all over again.

Best purchase I made in a while. Very much worth it and perfect for anyone wanting to make Döner :)
