Q: it is 3 ft tall but how wide is it when all stretched out?

The main part is 24" wide x 36" tall- but there is also a small section on the bottom that is 18" wide x 12" tall that can go on either side of the main part

Q: The tape for the back doesn't stick for long. Maybe 10 minutes?.

When the cutouts are used they become more able to stick. My two grandchildren, age 7 and 3, play with this non stop. The older child has used it regularly for 2 years.

Q: The tape strips I received are not two sides. How do you stick the rooms to the wall?

Hello, To use the double-sided tape, first apply/stick it to the back of the rooms and then peel off the backing (the clear adhesive will remain on the back of the room). Please note, we included a gentle adhesive, so it may stick better to some walls better than others (we didn't want the tape to potentially ruin any walls). We recommend trying different types of tape, as they may stick better, depending on the texture of your wall. For alternatives, we recommend trying painters tape or washi tape :)
