I was looking for some forks and spoons to replace some that I must have inadvertently thrown away from a set I got only a few months ago. When I saw these at the price listed I ordered a complete set as it was cheaper than getting the separate pieces from anybody else. I am SOOO GLAD I did.This set came in a pretty small box so I thought right away that they'd be flimsy and cheap. But I was more than pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped them. The pieces are very nice. They are each individually engraved with the name Nicely Home and alongside of that are the engraved words "18/10 stainless steel."They are really superb for anything in that price range. I looked at a lot of different designs and types and places and websites, not to mention going in to stores before buying my previous set not long ago. Let me tell you: there is no tableware set, anywhere on the face of this planet that even comes close to the quality of these for that price. Nothing. Nowhere!They are individually wrapped and they're shiny with very clean, modern cut lines. And they'll hold up to almost any ice cream scooping you can challenge them with--not counting solid ice, of course.Seriously though. I was really surprised at how nice these are. I paid more than twice that for my other set and they're not quite as nice--close, but not quite.I'm not saying these are the best things ever made. For that prioce range, don't expect hand made solid silver utensils with a Faberge egg thrown in as a "surprise" in the package like the old Jack-in-the Box popcorn. But I think you will find that they're nice enough to earn a few compliments and they'll last long too.The package insert advises hand washing and drying afterwards, but I'm sure that dishwashers everywhere today can handle these without doing any damage. They are really that good, and that sturdy.I've included some photos, not very good I'm afraid, but just to give you an idea of the sizes and all. I've gotta say though, if you can beat the quality of this set, at that price, or anywhere close to that price, call me. I will invite you for dinner and personally cook you the meal of your choice if you can, because I looked high and low and I could not and can not find anything even remotely like these for anything close to that price. I kid you not!They came fast, one day early I think, and they were everything they claimed to be and then some. And then some more. But if you can't see it clearly, an inch is approximately 25 centimeters, so you can figure it out. My older set is the plain one with the blunt ends. Nicely Home has a terrific product in this 40 piece set. I replaced a set I've inherited from my mother. I like the elegant style, simple yet distinctive. They do shine, especially in natural light. I'm most surprised in their weight and size. These fit nicely in a man's hands, are well balanced, and larger fork tines and spoons a man will appreciate. I would say that the same trait would be negative if you have young children. The general use fork and salad fork are size proportional, which suits their purposes better than my old set. The knives have a modest serrated tip edge as an added bonus. I noticed an easier, pleasant dining experience with them. Long overdue.

If you've been on Amazon for more than 30 mins looking for silverware and you just want to be done and get on with your life, try these. All the pieces are normally sized in terms of dimensions and weight. Seem better quality than Target ones for the same price. I'd only stay away if you don't like the texture of glazed -- not sure if that's the right term-- metal, because there's some on the handle. Probably because my dishwasher is terrible, but the silverware never seems to be as shiny as they were first out of the box unless I hand wash them.

These are not only beautiful, they are just the right weight. They look great as any table setting. I would be another set in a flash. Love the pattern. I highly recommend. Except that there aren't enough pieces to fit every course at a fine dinner, they would otherwise work for that as well. I returned to the company and ordered a second set!

I LOVE this set. I originally bought 2 sets, back in May (it's now December) and I'm buying a 3rd. They were out of stock the last time I checked, so I'm definitely getting it now! They have held up to the dishwasher, no stains or rust, they are sturdy and don't feel cheap in your hand. They're not "fine silverware" but they're perfect for my kitchen!

Functional medium quality good price

Each set I ordered had deep blemishes, scratches, etc. What I disliked most were the unevenness in the fork prongs. All of them came in warped, as did the knives. When I stacked the knives you can see they were warped to the right or left.
