I have a new range that I could not find a stove cover for (NX60A6511SS) so I bought this in the hopes that it would work. The cutouts were in the same configuration as my range heads but the range was a little wider than this cover. So, I cut it in 3, one for the left side heads, one for the center burner and one for the right side and now it works great. Does it perfectly cover without overlap from edge to edge? No. Does it keep drips from burning on the stovetop as I cook? Yes. So, for me, this does what I want. If you want a single flawless sheet for your stove NX60A6511SS model, don't buy this one. The in oven liner also worked with some cutting as the width it came in would have covered the gas outlets which I didn't want. And bonus, since the oven liner was too wide, now I have extra in case I need it later!As far as durability, the liner comes rolled so it needed some encouragement to stay flat on the stove. I did have one issue where the cover melted a bit initially when it was still a bit rolled. Since it was not flat to the bottom of the range, it got too close to the flame. Since it has flattened out, no further problems with any of the cover melting. And due to the material type, any burning/melting isn't going to propagate through the material- it will just melt the little edge the flame is hitting and stop. In general a nice set with good thickness and durability, even on the high BTU burners.

Honest review of Stove Top Covers for Electric Stove with 2pcs Stove Gap Covers, Stove Protector 28.5 x20.5 inch Heat Resistant for Glass Top Cooktop Cover Flat Stove Top @ $26.99 at time of order. Made in China.I believe that this is geared mostly for electric ranges that slide into a counter space while I have the electric stovetop that drops into a cutout in the countertop. So, mine has the knobs alongside the range top. Nonetheless, mine is the smooth top and constantly attracts dust. This comes with 2 stove gap covers too, and I do not have stove gaps, but wanted to try them at the ends of one countertop on both sides of where my double oven is installed since there are slight gaps there. It also comes with two adhesive-backed wire hooks for hanging this cover while the stove is in use and cooling down afterwards.I like how it is padded and provides a protective cover for my glass stove top, and lets me have more countertop space by being able to sit stuff on it to prepare to cook, etc., as long as I don’t have any burners turned on. This is heat resistant to 550 degrees C/1022 degrees F, according to the ad, but I don’t plan on testing it out on purpose. It is easily wiped off for cleaning and is dishwasher safe, according to the ad. The rubber gap covers are easily cleaned too.The gap covers did not fit in my spaces that I wanted to try, but I will likely let my daughter and her husband use them since they have a regular range that slides into the counter. My cabinets are made so that I could not use the hanging hooks on where it’s suggested. Instead, as pictured, I bought two magnetic hooks and put them on my refrigerator since I did not want to stick adhesive to it. I do with that they had decided to roll the protective mat and ship it that way instead of folding it since this left the creases in the centers.Hopefully this review helps someone decide on this product.

Does not resist heat in any way. Melted at the least little bit of contact with heat. Can't even use it as a hot pad! I bought the product to help protect our cats from jumping/walking onto hot burners when we are finished cooking. The first time we used it, we waited a few minutes before placing on still hot ceramic top stove, and it wasn't nearly long enough. We immediately smelled burning rubber. In another instance, I took a glass baking dish out of the oven and placed it on top of the mat, only to have the baking dish immediately MELT the mat! Honestly, its a decoration, and nothing more at this point! It doesn't protect anything except my COLD stove top from getting walked directly on by silly cats.

I like EVERYTHING about this product! Unfortunately, we had to purchase a new stove after 38 years (they just don't make them like they used to). Seriously though, our choices were a bit limited and we settled for a stainless steel oven with a smooth top. My husband suggested that we purchase a cover for the stove top and I thought he was dreaming of something that didn't exist. Much to my surprise and delight, we saw this and ordered. Not only does it protect the stove top from getting scratched, but also serves as an additional work space when not in use. I highly recommend this safeguard as a way of protecting a very expensive item.

Bought this product awhile ago, finally got around to using it. Put it in my oven and lined my stove with it Monday. Did well while cooking with it even though the cutouts could be a little smaller. Problem is, i turned my oven on to bake a brisket and an hour in, my carbon monoxide alarm went off and wont stop. Batteries are good. Looked up online what might have set it off and found that oven liners can cause carbon monoxide poisoning because they have no cutouts for the vents on bottom of stove so they block air flow and cause carbon monoxide poisoning. So, i took it out of my oven and dropped it on my bare foot and it burned my foot. So not so heat resistant. I’ve had foil cool quicker. So all I can say is be careful. I’m going to cut mine in half so it doesn’t cover the vents. If it sets my alarm off again, I’ll update and toss it.

The flexibility of the product. The width because I use them in the space of my stove and countertop. Love it. That you can cut them with ease to fit.

Works good. This is exactly what I needed for my kitchen.
