Well made unit!Could not get out of Jacuzzi, researched this and it fit perfectly and works very well.Was a bit worried that it may not be able to lift 240 pounds but it did without a hitchI highly recommend this unit!

I contacted the manufacturer of the defective bath lift to request a refund. The manufacturer said I needed to contact Amazon since it was purchased via Amazon. I contacted Amazon and was told the 30 day return window was closed. I purchased the bath lift in September 2023 for my 92 year old, disabled mother. 55 days ago! THE BATH LIFT IS DEFECTIVE! The scissor lift mechanism on one side does not function properly. This morning one side started going down at a different rate than the other. Then a piece of the seat surface on the defective side broke! Thankfully my mother was not injured. Amazon suggested I re-contact the manufacturer since the product is within the 5 year warranty. As of date,I have not heard back from them.***NOTE: I HEARD BACK FROM THE MANUFACTURER! THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND UNDERSTANDING! THE MANUFACTURER TOLD ME TO RE-CONTACT AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE TO GET AN AUTHORIZATION CODE FOR A REFUND. SINCE I PURCHASED THROUGH AMAZON AND NOT THE MANUFACTURER--THE MANUFACTURER SAID THEY WOULD ISSUE THE REFUND TO AMAZON AND THEN AMAZON SHOULD REFUND ME. I CONTACTED AMAZON TO GET THE REFUND RMA #. THE AMAZON REP. SAID THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT AN RMA NUMBER WAS AND THAT THERE WAS NO WAY TO GIVE ME A REFUND BECAUSE I HAD ALREADY TRASHED THE DEFECTIVE BATH LIFT. I EXPLAINED TO THE AMAZON REP. THAT THE MANUFACTURER SAID THEY WOULD ISSUE A REFUND-- EVEN THOUGH I HAD GOTTEN RID OF THE DEFECTIVE BATH LIFT. MANUFACTURER SAID NO WORRIES. AMAZON SAID NO WAY. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR. I WAS THEN TRANSFERRED AND SPOKE TO A MEMBER OF THE AMAZON LEADERSHIP TEAM. THEY SAID THEY NEEDED TO REVIEW THE EMAILS THAT I HAD SENT TO AMAZON, INCLUDING PHOTOS. I WAS PUT ON HOLD WHILE THEY REVIEWED EVERYTHING. THE AMAZON LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBER THEN CAME BACK ON THE LINE AND TOLD ME THEY WOULD ISSUE THE REFUND!LONG STORY SHORT, I GOT THE REFUND WITHIN 2 DAYS! LESSON HERE: ESCALATE UP TO TALK TO AN AMAZON LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBER FOR SUPPORT AND HELP.

I HATE showers - but upcoming surgery made tub baths physically impossible. Then my husband found the Bellavita tublift and my post-surgical outlook was brighter! With minimal set-up, this well-designed aide securely gets me in and out of the tub! I am far happier!!!

Haven’t had it long, but I love this chair! Of course you can’t get down quite as deep in the tub as you can without it, but it’s only a couple of inches difference. At least I can take a bath again! I can get in and out of the tub alone. I like this model because the back can be removed once you’re in the tub for a better soak. It has to be removed by someone else once you are all the way down, but I like it better after my husband removes it. You have to leave it on until you’re in because the motor and controls are in the back, but it is still a nice feature to have. Assuming it holds up, this was a great purchase. I will update if we start having problems with it.

The lift works just as specified but our bathroom design was a problem. Our toilet is to close to the tub and no way to step between them easily. We bought this for my 80 yr old mother and there just wasn’t a good way to put it in the tub where she could turn and step out. It’s a great product though but it has to be placed close to the center of a jacuzzi tub to meet the specs on the instructions.

Chair met my needs. Easy to use. Quality item.

The controller got a little wet and it stopped working. I’m stuck.

86 years old lady finally started to use her bathtub again.
