Awesome & Versatile Keyboard
This model replaced the CDP-220r that I had. The 235r increased the polyphony. The CDP series from Casio are incredible values. Notably, the Piano is great and the learning/teaching aspect of the built-in system is the best I've researched for the price range. The display has all the information and fingering for the included songs. The teaching system is very intuitive and the overall system is easy to setup. This keyboard has everything for the beginner and a a 700+ tone bank for creative development and fun.The weighted keyboard was improved over the 220r and very quiet. The action makes it easy to go from keyboard to any organic piano.Highly recommended.

It's great
I bought this for a friend to start her own business of teaching performance. She is in love with it. Sounds good, easy to use, looking forward to many years of use.

Excellent Instrument
When we downsized, one of the toughest things to let go of was my wife's piano, so we searched for a long time to find a suitable, but more compact, replacement. My wife has played publicly for many years, as well as for pleasure, so she was quite particular about the replacement. The Casio CDP-235R keyboard was, of all those we tried, the most faithful reproduction of a mechanical piano in both sound and action - my wife was particularly pleased with the fact the keyboard responds, as does a "regular" piano, at different "weights" across the keyboard, the treble being more sensitive and the bass more solid. The CDP-235R keys also accurately respond to the pressure applied to them, and bounce back as would a regular piano. The sound - this piano offer multiple piano sounds (as well as those of other instruments) - once again accurately emulates that of a "real" piano, with appropriate harmonic undertones when notes are played loudly. Finally, but in the end importantly, because it's an electronic piano the volume can be set as needed, yet the sound quality is not compromised at lower volumes. The ability to use headphones instead of speakers provides one more justification for this instrument. The one area we found lacking was the sustain pedal, which as supplied is just a lightweight plastic box containing a switch. This had a habit of sliding away from under my wife's foot, making it quite an annoyance. But because the CDP-235R has a professional sustain pedal connector, we were able to plug in an M-Audio SP-2 professional-quality sustain pedal which weighs about a pound, has a non-slip bottom, and features a solid-feeling metal pedal with the action of an acoustic piano's sustain pedal. This turned the CDP-235R from very good to great, and has satisfied my wife's desire for a compact piano which plays like a full-size acoustic instrument.

Casio CDP 355 Electric keyboard piano. Great value & package
I purchased last year's model when a far better player than I purchased one a year or so ago. Liked it so much I bought another (this year's model) for the grandkids. It has everything you need to get started and progress. I hook it up to my iPad and use an app called Yousician. Carnegie Hall? A local gym? Who knows?

YES I am delighted with this product. I bought it for my granddaughter in BC Canada and my daughter tells me they absolutely love it, and the grand piano actually sounds like a grand piano. I can strongly recommend this as a terrific buy
