No, definitely not Hi-Fi, in the sound quality sense, but this little amp does a great job for our needs. And yes, it gets loud if you want it to! Great value!

My record player started playing extremely softly and I couldn’t figure out why. I’m not great with electronics but I got this to amplify the sound and it works fantastic. I can even connect the headphone jack to my phone so I can listen to music from my phone whenever I want.It’s compact, lightweight, and looks clean with my music setup. I would say it’s great for starters and the sound quality that goes through to my external speakers is fantastic.

I am an electrical engineer. I wanted a preamp that had more gain than the simple In/Out amp I already have. This Manayo preamp did not provide as much gain. Both of the controls will increase the output level and even with both at max, it was still less than the old simple preamp I have. I didn't open the amp, but just looking at it from the outside, it is very well made.

Good, compact, and easy to set up. Just flick the switch and you are ready to enjoy high quality stereo.

I hate to say it but I could not get this device to work with my LP120X turntable. The sound was very muddy and unlistenable. I ended up returning it and went with a bit more expensive pre-amp, and the sound has been crystal clear.

I recently bought a new turntable and needed a phono preamp. I bought the Pyle p9999 or whatever and lets just say I was not impressed with the static, distortion and muffled sound. I decided to buy this and it worked like a charm instantly. Easy to setup, good build quality, and not too big. Great item at a great price point.

This works very well, sound is clean and easy to set up. BUT the included instructions say that when you plug headphones into the front, the rear output disconnects. This is not true! I had noise canceling headphones on and did not realize music was coming out of the desktop speakers till someone told me to turn my music down. So you either have to turn off your speakers or disconnect it from the back which is fairly annoying. It also does not include RCA cables, so make sure you have some handy when ordering this.

The media could not be loaded. I needed to digitize some vinyl records to mp3's and the level directly from my turntable was not adequate, so I ordered this Manayo preamp. And I am glad I did!Noise is a big deal to me and the specs said it was quiet. In the real world, hooked up to my turntable, with a ground wire, then using an obnoxious length out output phono cable, (I think they are 20-foot cables!!) I am getting really quiet results! 💕I was able to find a good blend of 'gain' and 'level' to make my digitizer happy and the finished mp3's are perfect!I highly recommend this Manayo Preamp, it rocks!
