absolutely phenomenal, perhaps the best purchase of my life. i just recently picked up a puppy and needed a camera for peace of mind. i wasn’t sure which would be best but went for this specific make and model as the price was low but the reviews were great and i cannot be happier. the picture is so crisp, same with the night vision. moving the camera is silent, and the feed is barely half a second behind. setting it up was so simple. would definitely recommend to anyone for a cheap yet quality little camera

I recently purchased the Tapo Wifi Camera, 2K 3MP, and it has exceeded my expectations. The setup process was incredibly simple, even for someone like me who isn’t very tech-savvy. If I can do it, anyone can—believe me! The camera connected seamlessly to my WiFi, and the instructions were straightforward without requiring any subscriptions, which is a huge plus. I primarily use it to keep an eye on my kittens, and it works perfectly. The video quality is excellent, capturing every detail in 2K resolution. The two-way audio feature is amazing—I can call my kittens remotely, even when they’re upstairs, and they can hear me clearly. This camera is fantastic value for money, and I trust the Tapo brand completely. In fact, I was so impressed that I purchased another one! If you’re looking for a reliable, user-friendly security or pet camera, this is definitely the one to get.

The camera itself works well – the video quality is clear, and the motion detection is reliable. I love that it sends notifications to my phone whenever someone is at the door. The installation was easy, and I had it set up in minutes, just like the more expensive options.While it’s a great value for the price, I’ll admit that the build quality isn’t quite as premium as some of the higher-end models. The audio could be clearer, and the app interface isn’t as polished, but for the price point, it’s hard to complain.

UPDATE - 30.June.2025You'll see below that I add my name to those who are very impressed.BUT - there seems to be NO Company address, phone number for help/queries.* My query is whether I can download any 'event' footage from the TAPO-Cloud to my phone's memory!It seems that you can only download it to the *camera's* memory card.So if burglars make off with the camera, there's no footage available to perhaps hand to the police to ID the dulprits.Is there / or Isn't there a way to download t the App?If not, then paying for Cloud storage seems useless after the 30-day free trial!Oh! And where is the Cloud Storage situated? USA? EU? This is amazing, so quick and easy to set up, I am watching my pets while at work day one, I can talk to them, move the camera. Such a cheap option that functions perfectly, I will be ordering more as I got the one to test for now. Very impressed, it does what is says its meant to!

Excellent! Easy to set up. Pleased with the functions of the little camera - tilt, motion/people sensor, able to record on microSDcard etc. Very clear picture. Although it is an indoor camera, I placed it on my window sill to view the driveway and it worked just as well. At night, due to reflections of my double-glazed window, the night mode does not work when I try to view out of the window, but when I switch to day mode, I could see out of the window with no issues.

Notifications to mobile, looked good quality, great price and no subscription. Easy to set up and great quality video image.

This camera is pretty good for the price! The picture quality is pretty clear and the tilt function is great! You can pan all the way around the room!Zooming in the quality of the picture deteriorates quite a bit, unless the camera is pretty close to the subject. Audio is fine, microphone works fine!Can't comment on recording or saving footage because I don't have an SD card installed in it yet. But for the price, it's a really good camera!
