It's not flat, and it doesn't get flat. Therefore it looks extremely stupid and annoying. It works fine, but looks terrible.

The NuMo Extended Gaming Mouse Pad is available in a choice of three trim colours – Black, Blue or Red. The mat is a decent size being almost 2 ft long by 1 ft wide, and the top has a smooth cloth surface optimized for fast movement, backed with an anti-slip rubber base to keep it firmly in place. When first unpacked the mat has a very strong smell of rubber – but this fades away after a couple of days in the fresh air. Using a full size standard keyboard leaves enough room on the mat for normal mouse use – but check the illustrations to see if this is sufficient for your gaming needs. The mat is good and tough so can resist spills and other accidental damage – so as well as it's intended purpose the mat could double up as a bar mat or the like. The mat rolls up nicely or storing or transporting and seems to be well made. The mat was supplied for evaluation and review purposes and I rate it with four stars – I would have liked it to be a little bit longer to allow for a bigger area for the mouse when gaming.

The Rancoo Extended mouse mat a simplistic and well priced extended gaming mat. I received the blue one, which is essentially all black with blue embroidery. The item arrives rolled up in a nondescript brown box, rolled up. As a result and as expected, the edges initially do have a tendency to curl in so just get some weights and leave on the edges for a few hours and problem solved. The braided edge does work well as it should hopefully prevent too much fraying that can tend to happen with some mats over time. On the base of the mat is a rubber coating which helps to provide some grip and ensure that mat stays in place.In terms of size, the mat is 60 cm x 30 cm. As a result its not actually that wide and you may find in some cases with large keyboards like my own K95, there is not much space left for the mouse, if at all. The mat will work best with a smaller more compact key board or a ten key less keyboard in order to fit a mouse on. However really this is not an issue as I imagine most people will measure an ideal space and see if this mat is ideal. For myself it works perfect for a secondary PC however.In all the mat does whats expected, looks clean and smart without any OTT logo's and comes in at a reasonable price. Solid product.

The edges of the mat looks neat and tidy as it has been overlocked. It looks quite professional on the desk and fits my keyboard and mouse onto it.
