Excellent Glasses for the Money
I work in a low-mid light environment and the amber lens glasses usually cost quite a bit. These glasses perform just as well as my old UVEX Genesis at half the cost. Fastcap glasses also fit closer to the temple and around the ear which is nice if you use heavy earmuff hearing protection like I do. The temples do extend and they LOCK UP SOLID. Mine haven't slipped loose from their setting yet, despite some hard hits and dropping them now and again. The wraparound lenses are not as distorting as some cheap glasses and my eyes don't hurt after wearing them awhile, but they also do not have the slight magnification effect that UVEX curved lenses have. The noseguards feel light and don't leave heavy marks after use, they also don't slip around even when the shop is hot and I get a bit sweaty. The Fastcap is quickly becoming my favorite glasses around the shop and I will probably buy them in clear lenses when it comes time to replace my clear glasses. They fit well under a face mask if needed, but do not fit over glasses. As far as I know the lenses are not interchangeable with clear or tinted, you would need seperate glasses, but at this cost, you can afford them.

COOL GLASSES BUT BE CAREFUL
I ruined ten pair of good safety glasses before I finally discovered what was causing the destruction. I spend a lot of time working outdoors on various projects. For some mysterious reason, after wearing them only a few times, the lens on my glasses looked as if they'd had been sprayed with acetone. Even when operating a chain saw and wood chipper, I don't get hit in the face with debris sufficient to cause the damage that my glasses were sustaining.SUNSCREEN or SUNBLOCK was causing the damage. Even the expensive stuff like Neutrogena ruins the lens. How can I keep sweat from getting on my glasses? If you touch the lens with sunblock on your fingertips, kiss your glasses goodbye. This problem has not yet made it around the Internet enough to find a good solution. To avoid skin cancer, we're bathing in stuff that destroys plastic. Some say sunscreen will eat the paint off your car but I can't afford to test that theory.I hope this information saves somebody a pair of safety glasses.

fastcap sunglasses
I purchased thees glasses and recieved them very quickly. i was excited to try them and see how well they work, i need them for commercial landscaping in 85 degrees(cutting grass, weed wacking, edging...etc) they looked really good i put them on and started the mower, right away a piece of grass came underneath the lenses and into my eye and thought it was just a coincidence and re-adjusted them, i wore them for about 5 hours and the whole time debris was coming up from the bottom. the sides and top of the glasses worked perfectly. they did not fog at all (probably because there was a huge gap between the bottom of the lens and my eye) for style id give 5 stars, for uv protection id also give 5 stars, unfortunatly i can not rate for durability since i couldnt wear them for the landscaping, for protection i have to give 1 star because the top and the outside of the lens work perfectly, for comfort i would give a 5 for fitting my face perfectly (even though the arms do not adjust) and they did not slide down my face. im rating the glasses 2 stars only because i did not get the protection i need and if it wasnt for that id give it 5 stars.

Great and who can beat the price
I was working with my dremel a week ago when the cut off wheel broke and a large shard was ejected at my left eye striking my brow right above the socket, after this I thought I really should be wearing safety glasses, I just could have been blinded in my one eye! I went to the store and they were all priced like $10, so I looked on Amazon found these orded them up. I have used them twice, they fit great and stay on well with the ear things on their shortest, I have a normal to a little big sized head so I dont know who would need to extend them. They did not fog and do not distort my vision to the point where I really notice or it bothers me as some really cheep glasses can. They are also very clear. Buy them and save your eyes!

Exceptional protection and looks great!
Recently I got hit in the eye while trimming my yard with my gas powered Ryobi string trimmer. After visiting the optometrist and spending a couple days with drops -- happily my eye was/is fine!!! -- I decided I've tempted fate long enough. Enter these safety glasses. My recollection of safety glasses is the dorky ones from 7th grade shop class. Forget about those, as these Fastcap tinted safety glasses look like very cool sun glasses. Now when I trim the yard or mow (I use a riding mower and grass flies like crazy -- especially when it is windy), I don't worry about my eyes getting whacked. Bottom line: These glasses fit well, provide me great protection, and they look very cool. And, the price is great. I am very happy and am purchasing a couple more pairs.

These are not mirrored
I'm not sure what the seller considered "mirrored" safety glasses. I purchased these to help with welding glare while auditing welders (glare from the side, not directly looking, obviously). The packaging says "mirrored", but the glasses themselves only say "UBA/UVB resistant" and are quite obviously clear, basic safety glasses and in no way "mirrored". I returned one saying it was the wrong product only to receive a second identical pair of clear, unmirrored safety glasses and now I'm stuck returning them. Buyer beware, this is a false claim.

Why the big price spike?
Been buying these for years...comfortable, and unlike most safety glasses, they don't look like safety glasses, so they make good all-around semi-disposable fairly stylish sunglasses. Optics are plenty good enough for driving, and just dark enough. But suddenly the price has gone up more than 50%....from seven-something to almost twelve bucks!

Different design & frame, still like it
I had ordered this item and got another one that has clear frame and lens as well. I could not find a way to contact the seller. Since this item was good, but not best for me as the one i ordered, i decided to keep it to save my self the cost of shipping it back 9which would be cost of the item itself).
