I purchase a 6.7 oz bottle at Walmart for $ 4.89. The bottle I purchase on Amazon was right at $ 4.00, but I received just under 24 oz. for less money. Made by the same company. That is one good deal. I don't use this sauce too often, just for certain recipes. it will last forever.

My recipe called for Fish sauce. I was so afraid my meal would taste like fish and i dont like seafood. But i went ahead and followed the recipe. This sauce was just right. It was mixed with tamarind and soy sauce with brown sugar and the “fishy”taste was barely detectable. Whew! It smells fishy but didn't overwhelm my pad Thai sauce recipe. Im now a fan. But i still dont like fish.

I used to prepare stir fry dishes or Asian inspired dishes but they were often missing something. It was fish sauce. I now religiously incorporate fish sauce when making pho, stir fry, curry dishes, etc. It really is a necessity in the kitchen. I cannot find a large size bottle in local grocery stores.
