Venstar T7850 Colortouch 7 Day Programmable Thermostat with Built in Wifi (Replaces T5900 and Acc0454) by Venstar

I had an older version for about 5 years that worked great. Easy to upload pictures and do settings. This model is clunky with the touchscreen. It cant even recognize my google home internet even though the router is less than 10 feet away, and you cant get the screensaver to use any of your own pictures. This is cheap china garbage, do not buy!

Recently replaced older, programmable thermostat with this Venstar. This thermostat is AWESOME! Easy to install, easy to program and very responsive. The display is very clear and super easy to read, even for this seniors challenged eye sight. Love being able to turn on/off and adjust temperatures with my iPhone or iPad. Very satisfied with this purchase. Love the WiFi technology too.

he Thermometer was fairly easy to set up and looks nice. But that's about it. When it's on the screensaver, you have to press the screen quite firmly several times to return to the options. Then, it shows about 5 degrees from the real room temperature. Runs cool. When the real temperature is 75, it shows 80. Another thing is that both the wallpaper and screen saver stay on constantly. You don't have the option for it to go dark. Seems like a good way to burn it out and waste energy. It is very pretty. I wish it came in black.
