Anderson 22 in. Indoor/Outdoor Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan

Ordered this to use in daughter's bedroom. She has bunk beds and needed a safer ceiling fan. While this fan offered the enclosed fan blades, the light was not very bright and the fan itself was VERY loud! We returned that fan to seller.

This is a very interesting fan and I love the look aesthetically! It is true, as others have mentioned, when it is on the highest setting it is rather loud. I don't think we will typically use it on the highest setting and it is in a guest room so that didn't bother me. What bothered me was this beautiful and interesting fan and light is controlled by remote only, you can not have a switch that controls the fan and light separately. I had no idea this remote would be black and have a black mounting case. Yes, I could tuck it away in a drawer and hope it is there every time I need to make a change to lighting or fan speed, but I think that could get tricky. This absolutely ugly remote is not neutral by any sense of the word. You can see it 5 miles away. I called the company and this company only manufactures black remotes so I can't even upgrade it if I wanted to. Disappointing for such a stunning light!

This unit looks really cool but I have two problems with it.1. It doesn't really move much air. To feel any air movement you have to be directly under the fan.2. We have seen the light come on randomly. I spoke to customer service thinking I had a bad remote. They were very responsive and explained that because it uses radio signals there can be contention with other devices in your house (or the neighbor's house). To fix it you have to adjust the channel in the remote and the fan itself until the problem stops. That requires a lot of trial and error to get it right. Because it can only be controlled by the remote there really is not other option if this problem comes up. It would be better to have a wall mounted switch as an option.

We enclosed a sunroom that had 3 traditional ceiling fans and I hated the way they looked. I found the encaged fans and loved that you can't see the blades, they have a bright light and a remote that controls the fan and light individually. The only drawback is if you put all 3 fans on high they a noisy, but since the room is air conditioned, I don't think we will be using the high setting very often. I have had several compliments on them. My husband installed them by himself. They have a "ball" that hooks onto the electrical box that makes it easy to wire and mount for 1 person. Recommend!

It is ideal for small rooms and also for kid's room with bunk bed. The fan is smaller (22" diameter) and the blades are enclosed.It is loud at high speeds which is typical of small blade fans (for smaller blades for the same cfm of air moved needs higher rpms than conventional fans) and hence louder at high speeds. The louder noise is not irritating or annoying, it blends out eventually. It is not loud enough to cause hearing issues.

Remote receiver did not work. I ask for it to be replaced by the seller MJ and was told noThey have a 30 day guarantee and would not replace the receiver. Had to purchase it from the manufacturer. I would not purchase from them agsin

Very attractive fan. Super smooth and quiet. Only glitch was the remote sensor receiver was too big to fit in electrical box old fan had. Had to get larger one. Other than that,... very worth the price.

This is a beautiful fixture in my kitchen. The fan really stirs the air and it looks fantastic! The only negative is the fluorescent light is not super bright but more along soft light but I have other lights that I can use if more light is needed. I love it!
