Ekgraph vs. Kardia Mobile
I’ve been a Kardia Mobile user a little over a month, but once my free trial expired and I was prompted to pay $10/month to continue using it. Instead of paying, I decided to look for another device and came across this EKG monitor. My 2 cents why you should buy this:- Use as stand-alone device. Ekgraph has an LCD screen that shows a live EKG tracing and displays an immediate EKG result. If it shows “No Abnormalities” I don’t even bother taking out my phone unless I’m feeling off. When going for a hike or run I can just take the ekgraph. Recordings are stored in the device and I can later connect my phone to view my recordings. With Kardia you must have your phone with you at all times to record an EKG.- Rechargeable. Includes USB and wall charger. With Kardia mobile you will have to buy a replacement battery.- Free and unlimited app. This was the biggest reason why I bought Ekgraph. The SonoHealth App is intuitive and simple to use. I can also delete recordings I don’t need (normal) and just leave the abnormals. Takes 1 click to email or print EKG reports.- Community. Sonohealth has a forum that can be accessed via the app or website. It’s like a support system. With users just like yourself who can answer health questions or concerns. You can even post your interesting EKGs and let others decipher it.- The only negative/neutral thing I have to say about Ekgraph is that it won’t directly tell you if you’re in AFib. It will show you “Arrhythmia” as a result and you can then look at the EKG tracing to see if it’s something serious like AFib. Other than that the Ekgraph provides with 13 possible EKG results including specific results like "Ventricular Premature Beats" (VPB)

Good for personal home use
Review from an RN who works on a hospital telemetry unit -- Overall this is a useful product to check basic cardiac rhythms. Upon verifying the heart rates with hospital EKG readings, they were found to be correct. Mobile app was user friendly and simple to setup and navigate. This product is easy for anyone to use at home or on the go. Somebody could definitely use it to check in at their convenience.

A potential life-saving device that's inexpensive and easy to use
The unit is compact and lightweight and takes an immediate EKG when needed that can be either stored on your phone, tablet or computer, printed out, or emailed directly to your doctor. Also, friendly customer service is only an email away in the event of a problem. Great investment for anyone with cardiac issues. Glad I bought one.

Good Rhythm strip
This was very helpful in determining rhythm when I needed it. The baseline is not alway super clean but it showed p waves and picked out a fib from a SVT

Amazing that I can do my own EKG any time. Impressive.
My cardiologist strongly suggested that I buy another brand EKG device to monitor my arrhythmia. After researching several products, including the one he recommended, my husband and I agreed that the SonoHealth Portable EKG monitor was a better option. First, because no monthly subscription is required. Also, the ability to transfer data to my phone, tablet and/or computer. When I got it a few days later, it was very simple to use. It just has a few pictures on the side of the box and that is clear enough to figure out how to use it. There is also a link to the website for downloading or reading info about the unit as well as connectivity. I had read in other reviews/suggestions that only one person could use/track data, but that is not so. The app can be installed on several devices, so if my hubby wants to record his data, he just uploads only that specific data to his device. I printed out several of the EKG reports for my cardiologist today, and he was pleased with them (even though he had recommended a different product). Also, SonoHealth contacted me a few days after receipt to be sure that all was going well, and solicited my feedback/comments. SonoHealth seems to care about our needs and suggestions and is quick to respond to emails/comments. Very good proactive customer service. The device is well built, comes with a usb cable and usb/plug converter, works with bluetooth as well, and instructions are simple and easy to follow. Thank you! We have already recommended the Portable EKG to others, because it is cost effective, helpful, interesting and gives the cardiologist/dr a heads up on issues of the heart.Having used it several days now, I have had readings of "no abnormalities", "arrhythmia", skipped heartbeat and a few others, but I think those had to do with my unexpected movement during the 30 second reading. Overall, this is a GREAT product and we are glad to have made the purchase. My only suggestion at this time would be to add a small case or sack to keep things all together, but I have found a little makeup bag that I am using to carry it around in my purse, so I can take a reading should I need to at any time.
