Bosch 11032531 Genuine OEM UltraClarity® Pro Water Filter Cartridge (White) for Bosch Refrigerators

My second one purchased in six months per the replacement schedule. The only problem is that the display in the refrigerator will not recognize the new filter and stop noting that it needs to be replaced. The screen should go back to showing the temperature not the replacement note. Any ideas, let me know. I’ve even called the appliance company and followed their suggestions. Still hasn’t worked correctly.

The filter is a little tricky to put in my fridge (I actually have to ask someone to do it for me). Once it's in, it works great. The water flow definitely slows down as the filter gets ready to be replaced. Water tastes great.

I replace our fridge filter every 6 months or sooner, depending on how much we use it, which is a lot. It's super simple to pull out the old one and replace it each month. My only complaint is that it's not really recyclable. You can definitely tell a difference with the taste of the tap water versus this filter. I have used brita filters for many years when I lived in apartments and now that I'm a homeowner, we live on filtered water and this one doesn't disappoint. It comes packaged well and with plenty of instructions and info, and my fridge is on wifi so now it tells me when it needs to be replaced, which is very handy.

The original installed filter with my new Bosch refrigerator lasted a good year. The water tasted pure and fresh. I only replaced it now after a year and just noticing the taste diminishing as well as the indicator on the refrigerator.I just replaced the filter with a new one yesterday. Is it normal for the water to taste musty or chemical-like at first? I rand several quarts of water through my refrigerator dispenser and the flavor is still the same. Noter, there is no odor.
